Main Features:

First numerical stable interactive free angle push&shove routing.
As far as we know the push&shove capability is also unsurpassed in conventional 45-degree mode.
The routing extension software produces a big productivity boost on Eagle if used
on large and dense board designs.

Steps for installing the software:

1) If the Java 5.0 Runtime Environment (JRE) is not yet installed on your computer,
you can get it from http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp

2) Adjust the script file run_freeroute.bat to your local environment.

3) Put the file brd_to_dsn.ulp into the subdirectory ulp of your Eagle installation directory.

4) Open in Eagle any board design. Let us assume, that it has the name my_design.brd.

5) Choose in the Files pulldown menu of Eagle the item "Run" and select brd_to_dsn.ulp.
A file with name my_design.dsn is generated.

6) Assure that the files freeroute.jar, hs.jar and run_freeroute.bat are in the same directory.

7) Open my_design.dsn with the adjusted script file run_freeroute.bat.

8) After making some changes to your design in Freeroute, choose "export Eagle session script" in the
Files pulldown menu of Freeroute. A file with name my_design.scr is generated.

9) Open in Eagle my_design.brd again, choose there in the Files pulldown menu the item "Script",
   and select my_design.scr.

The file my_design.brd will now be updated with the changes made in Freeroute.

Please make a backup copy of my_design.brd before running the script.
